FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Starting therapy comes with questions. Here are answers to the ones I hear most.

Do you offer therapy online in Colorado?

Yes. All sessions are held by secure telehealth, so you can meet with me from home or anywhere in Colorado that feels private and comfortable. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado and serve clients anywhere in Colorado.

Do you take insurance?

Yes. I accept Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna and Evernorth, Kaiser Permanente (Denver metro area), Optum, Oxford, TriWest, United Medical Resources (UMR), and UnitedHealthcare (UHC | UBH). I also offer self-pay, and I can provide a superbill if you want to seek reimbursement from a plan I am not in network with.

Do you take Kaiser Permanente in the Denver area?

Yes. I am in network with Kaiser Permanente in the Denver metro area, and I see Kaiser members by secure telehealth.

How much does therapy cost?

Self-pay sessions are $150 for individuals and $175 for couples. Payment is due at the time of the session. If you use insurance, your cost depends on your plan's copay or deductible. I am happy to help you understand your benefits.

What does the free consultation involve?

The free 15-minute consultation is a no-pressure phone or video conversation. You share what is going on, ask me questions, and we decide together whether working together feels like a good fit.

Who do you work with?

I work with preteens, teens, and adults, as individuals and as couples. Many of my clients are adults and parents navigating ADHD, anxiety, autism and neurodivergence, relationship stress, pregnancy and postpartum changes, and life transitions.

What kind of therapy do you use?

I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused, and strength-based approaches. Sessions are collaborative and practical, so you leave with tools that fit your brain and your life.

Do you provide ADHD testing or medication?

I provide therapy and practical skill-building for ADHD, not formal diagnostic testing or medication. If a diagnostic evaluation or medication would help, I can point you toward the right providers and work alongside them.
